PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydration treatment apparatus for PCB contaminated sludge or residues, and a PCB processing system using the same.SOLUTION: The dehydration treatment apparatus comprises: a pressurized dehydrator (hereinafter, referred to as the "dehydrator") 52 which, after a specified quantity of sludge or residues 51 containing PCB is charged therein, is pressurized; moisture absorbent supplying means 54 having a pressure tank 54a and a booster pump 54b for introducing liquefied dimethyl ether (liquefied DME) 53, a liquefied hygroscopic solvent, into the pressurized dehydrator 52; and stirring means 55 for stirring inside of the pressurized dehydrator 52. The sludge or the residues 51 containing PCB and liquefied DME 53 are stirred by the stirring means 55 to extract moisture and PCB into the liquefied DME 53, which is dehydrated. |
