<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue for a seat belt device capable of moving a clamp member to a prescribed direction only when clamp of a webbing is required, and to provide a seat belt device.SOLUTION: A tongue 10 includes a pawl 82 for restricting movement in a clamp direction of a clamper 62 by being engaged with a body side engaging part 92 in which a first load receiving part 88 is formed on a tongue body 40 in the initial state. When a pretensioner is operated to pull a webbing 16 to its base end side, and thereby engagement between the first load receiving part 88 and the body side engaging part 92 is not released, the clamper 62 cannot be moved in the clamp direction even if a load pulling the webbing 16 to its tip side works on the clamper 62.</p> |
