<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development apparatus in which leakage of a developer is suppressed.SOLUTION: A development cartridge includes: a housing; a developing roller 110 including a rotary shaft 111 and a roller body 112; and a side seal member 140 arranged between the housing and the roller body 112 on an axial-direction end part of the roller body 112. The roller body 112 includes a concavity 114 concaved from an end face 112A to the axial-direction inside, the concavity 114 has a first face 114A extended in the axial direction and a second face 114B extended from an inside end part of the first face 114A in a direction intersecting with the axial direction, and a distance b in the axial direction from the axial-direction inside end part 142 of the side seal member 140 up to the second face 114B is longer than an axial direction magnitude (a) of a portion on which the side seal member 140 is superposed to the first face 114A in the axial direction.</p> |
