By the present invention, even a long, small-diameter lens barrel can be assembled with good precision while airtightness/watertightness is maintained by packing an adhesive in appropriate places. A lens barrel (1) is provided with a lens (10) and a mirror frame (2). The mirror frame has a tube component (20) and a lens seat component (30) which is fixed to a distal end opening of the tube component. The lens seat component has a distal-end seat part (31) which has an opening (31a) in which a distal-end-side optical surface of the lens is exposed and an inside surface (31b) for supporting the lens on the periphery of the opening, and a circular or arc-shaped lateral wall part (32) erected on a distal-end seat part. An inside surface (32a) of the lateral wall part is formed along an external peripheral surface (14) of the lens and bonded to the external peripheral surface. A top surface (32e) of the lateral wall part comes in contact with a member (41) such as an imaging fiber, and the position of the member in the axial direction is thereby determined. The lens is disposed in a position not even with the central axis (AX) of an insertion part in which the member (41) of the tube component is inserted, and a positioning surface is unevenly disposed on the side opposite from the side on which the lens is unevenly disposed.
