The purpose of the present invention is to provide a material capable of selectively adsorbing an organic fluorine-based compound such as perfluorooctanesulfonic acid and recovering the adsorbed organic fluorine-based compound, and which is reusable as an adsorbent. The present invention provides a polymer material in which cyclodextrin is supported on a water-insoluble polymer, and a method for using the polymer material as an adsorbent, particularly as a selective adsorbent of an organic fluorine-based-compound.
