A method for enabling a terminal to set a communication link in a wireless communication system includes the steps of: exchanging at least one of group forming information for role negotiation between the terminal and a counterpart terminal, IP allocation information for allocating an internet protocol (IP), and ARP information for exchanging an address resolution protocol (ARP) with the counterpart terminal; and setting a main communication link with the counterpart terminal based on the exchanged information.
