<p>A thermal protecting shroud for thermal insulation of a gun of a tank is provided. The shroud includes a sleeve having a rigid wall portion configured to be mounted on the gun such that the rigid wall portion surrounds at least the majority of the circumference of at least a portion of the gun. The shroud further includes an insulating system configured for reducing thermal signature of an object, the insulating system is coupled to an inner surface of the rigid wall portion, wherein at least the majority of the insulation system is fiber.</p> |
