CARTILAGE MATRIX PRODUCED FROM BENIGN CHONDROMA AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to a cartilage matrix prepared by using benign chondroma cells and a method for preparing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for preparing a cartilage matrix, the cartilage matrix prepared by the method, and a composition, an injection, and a transplant comprising the cartilage matrix as an active ingredient for cartilage regeneration, wherein the method has the following steps: isolating tumor cells from a culture of benign chondroma cells; and extracting the cartilage matrix. The cartilage matrix prepared from the benign chondroma cells of the present invention or a cartilage cell prepared by putting the cartilage matrix into a medium for cartilage differentiation and culturing the cartilage matrix is formulated in various forms such as an injection or a transplant such that the present invention can be effectively used to regenerate damaged cartilage. Since the cartilage matrix of the present invention is a human type cartilage matrix prepared by using benign chondroma cells taken from a human patient, the present invention can provide a clinically applicable composition for cartilage regeneration by excluding graft rejection and a risk of infection due to zooanthroponosis agents which are involved in cases where the cartilage matrix from an animal is used in the existing study.
