摘要 The present invention relates to a method for recovering a byproduct from an extraction remnant liquid that is discharged through a nickel ore wet smelting process, including a reduction step in which nickel ore containing Ni and Fe is reduced with hydrogen-containing gas so that reduced ore for leaching is obtained; a leaching step in which the reduced ore is dissolved with hydrochloric acid and Ni and Fe ions are leached so that a leachate is obtained; a pH adjustment step in which an alkaline chemical is added to the leachate for pH adjustment, and then a solid is removed; an extraction step in which reduced ore for extraction, which is obtained be reducing nickel ore containing Ni and Fe with hydrogen-containing gas, is injected into the leachate so that a ferronickel extracted material from which Ni is extracted and an extracted liquid containing iron chloride are obtained through a substitution reaction between nickel ions on the leachate and iron ions in the reduced ore for extraction; an extracted material recovery step in which the extracted material is recovered from the extracted liquid; a pyrolysis step in which the extracted liquid is spray-roasted to a roasting furnace having a roasting temperature so that the iron chloride is subjected to pyrolysis into iron oxide and chlorine; and an iron oxide recovery step in which the iron oxide is recovered and chlorine-containing exhaust gas is discharged. According to the present invention, high-quality iron ore and hydrochloric acid can be recovered, and thus the present invention is economical. The recovered byproduct can be recycled during a process.
