摘要 PURPOSE: A high-carbon steel wire with an excellent endurance ratio and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a high-carbon steel wire capable of being applied to a tire code, a wrapping wire, and a wire-drawing light steel wire in which endurance ratio or fatigue resistance is essential. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a high-carbon steel wire with an excellent endurance ratio includes the following steps of: obtaining a linear material by hot-rolling a steel material comprising 0.90-1.00 wt% of C, 0.7-1.5 wt% of Si, 0.1-0.5 wt% of Cr, and the rest of Fe and inevitable impurities at a temperature of 950-1050°C; cooling the linear material at a cooling speed in which cementite is not generated; and obtaining a steel wire by wire-drawing and thermal-processing the cooled linear material.
