PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain noncontact, precise, stable, responsive detection of the temperature of a pan without influence of the material quality of the pan on a top plate, the state of a bottom, or temperature elevation of a device component member such as the top plate during cooking.SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker comprises: the top plate to place the pan thereon; a heating coil under the same; a light guide tube provided to a member to fix the heating coil to guide infrared rays from the pan; and a pan temperature detection means which detects the temperature of the pan by calculating an infrared dose radiated from the top plate and the light guide tube from the temperatures of the top plate and the light guide tube and subtracting the result from the output of an infrared detection means, the infrared detection means detecting the infrared rays having passed through the light guide tube. |
