The method for recommending applications in a mobile terminal configured to access an application market server includes transmitting an application information request message to the application market server, receiving information on applications which have never been installed on the mobile terminal but are related to an installed application and/or installation information on applications which have at least once been installed on the mobile terminal and displaying the received information.
