Disclosed is an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes a locking unit which selectively locks a physical connection with an external device and a control unit which controls the operation mode of the electronic apparatus according to a connection state with the external device. The control unit controls the locking unit to lock the connection with the external device if the operation mode of the electronic apparatus is an operation mode using a graphic processing device of the external device.
