PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin that includes a novel polymer having good miscibility with a thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic resin. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition includes (a) an end-modified polymer represented by formula (1) and (b) a thermoplastic resin (wherein in formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>each independently represent a monovalent organic group or R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may combine to form a ring structure with an adjacent carbon atom; R<SP>4</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and R<SP>5</SP>represents a monovalent organic group; R<SP>6</SP>represents a monovalent organic group; l represents a number of 1-10; m represents a number of 10-1,000; and n represents a number of 1-5).
