PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sure page turning-up in booklets such as a bankbook or the like and provide a device, by which a stable page turning-up is realized even under the condition that a page turning-up frictional member wears to keep a deterioration of the device developed by ink or the like. SOLUTION: This device is employed for turning-up the page of a booklet with a plurality of pages during its conveying passage and is equipped with a pressure roller for fixing the binding part at the middle of the booklet and a turning-up roller, in some peripheral part of which the frictional member is provided for being thrustingly rotated by one open edge of the booklet so as to turn up the topmost page under the condition that the topmost page of the booklet is thrustingly turned up by increasing the rotational radius of the frictional member during the period of the topmost page of the booklet being abutted against the frictional member.
