<p>Disclosed is a structure of the front section of a vehicle body, the structure being disposed on the front end portion (16a) of a front side frame (16) on the same position as the rear surface (47b) of a side stay (47) in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, and having a first extending portion (41) extending downward along the rear surface (47b) of the side stay (47). A lower stay (46) is provided with a second extending portion (42) extending outward in the vehicle width direction beyond the side stay (47) to a position below the first extending portion (41). A joining section (49) is formed so as to join the front surface (41a) of the first extending portion (41), the upper surface (42a) of the second extending portion (42), and outside surface (47a) of the side stay (47). The joining section (49) defines an arrangement region (S1) for inner and outer shock absorbing members (21, 22) having a lower rigidity than the front side frame (16).</p> |
