PURPOSE: Block copolymer is provided to have a low length changing rate and a low water absorbing rate and high mechanical property so that the block copolymer is used as polymer electrolyte membrane such as fuel battery film, ion exchange membrane. CONSTITUTION: Block copolymer represented by chemical formula 1 comprises hydrophobic block unit represented by chemical formula 2 and hydrophilic block unit represented by chemical unit 3 and the trifluorovinyl groups of the block unit in the chemical formula 2 and the chemical formula 3 are connected. R^1 comprises halogen substitution or unsubstituted benzene ring. R^2 comprises a substituted benzene ring chosen from -SO3^- M^+, -PO3H^- M^+, -PO3^2- 2M^+. R^3, R^4 and R^5 comprises more than one substituted group or unsubstituted benzene ring chosen from halogen, alcohol and -SO3^- M^+.
