PURPOSE: A method for an external Bluetooth module and a terminal thereof are provided to allow a smart phone to easily control other external devices by using Bluetooth communication. CONSTITUTION: A Bluetooth module, which transmits and receives data to an external Bluetooth module, controls an interface image and pin information of the external Bluetooth module to be displayed on a screen(S100). When a data output pin number of the external Bluetooth module corresponding to the interface image is inputted, setting data of a data output pin for the external Bluetooth module is generated based on the interface image and the data output pin number and implements a device interface for controlling an operation of a device with the external Bluetooth module(S110-S130).
