The present invention relates to an advertisement system and method using a media player and, more specifically, to an advertising system and method providing an advertisement for a lock screen on a mobile terminal in a lock mode using a media player. The advertisement system according to an embodiment of the present invention can display an advertisement image on a lock screen by displaying an album image on the lock screen when media is played in the lock mode of the mobile terminal. Therefore, by continuously exposing an advertisement on a lock screen which a user always sees when a mobile terminal is activated, attention to the advertisement can be increased and, at the same time, the cost efficiency of the advertisement can be significantly improved by providing the advertisement by running in the background. |
