<p>A floating dry dock 11 is provided and has two substantially parallel elongate support structures 13 and 14 carried on a plurality of floating pontoons 12. A roof 16 extending over at least part of the area of the dry dock is provided. The roof may be a covering carried on a superstructure 15 supported by the parallel elongate support structures. The roof may extend over the entire area of the dock and may be removable. A method of removing and a method of replacing one of the plurality of pontoons through ballasting of the pontoons is also disclosed.</p> |
