The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring the temperature of a material which includes: a material extraction device which extracts a material from a furnace; a sensor installation station which is moved to the upper and lower sides of the material mounted on the material extraction device; a temperature sensor device which is installed on the sensor installation station and touches an upper part and a lower part of the material to measures the temperature of the material; and a sensor transfer device which is installed on the material extraction device and transfers the sensor installation station in the direction of the material.
