The plant has a rotor blade attached at a rotor hub (10), and a drive shaft (31) comprising a rotor shaft portion (32), an intermediate shaft portion (34) and a generator shaft portion (36). The rotor shaft portion, the intermediate shaft portion and the generator shaft portion are formed as separate components and connected with each other over a coupling system that is provided with two clutches. The clutches of the coupling system are arranged between the rotor and intermediate shaft portions and between the generator and intermediate shaft portions, respectively. The intermediate shaft portion comprises a shaft body that is made of composite material i.e. glass-fiber reinforced composite material. |
