The fan (10) has a housing (12) comprising a fluid inlet (16) and a fluid outlet (24) which are fluidly connected together. A working unit (40) is provided with fluid conveying unit which is driven by electric motor (28), so that the working fluid is conveyed from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. The working unit is a centrifugal device and the fluid conveying unit is provided with a radial impeller (38) with several guide vanes and a central inlet port (42).
