PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load detection unit that is high in detection accuracy of a load and high in strength against a force in the shearing direction. SOLUTION: The load detection unit 100 includes: an upper plate 23; a lower plate 33 disposed opposite to the upper plate 23; an elastic body 32 formed in a frame shape and whose upper surface is attached to the upper plate 23 and lower surface is attached to the lower plate 33; and a load sensor 31a arranged inside of a frame that the elastic body 32 is formed. The elastic body 32 composed of a first elastic body 32a, and a second elastic body 32b whose elastic modulus is higher than the first elastic body 32a layered in a vertical direction.
