The present invention relates to an apparatus for collecting cut lawn and a power operated lawn mower using the same capable of loading cut lawn in a trailer after cutting lawn and efficiently collecting the cut lawn at the same time. The apparatus for collecting cut lawn of the present invention comprises: a trailer which is towed by a traveling main body by being mounted on a rear side of the traveling main body traveled by power and has a loading space; and a collecting unit which loads cut lawn in the loading space of the trailer after collecting the lawn cut by a cutter installed on a lower part of the traveling main body. The cutting unit includes; a collecting unit which is installed on a lower part of the trailer and collects the cut lawn; a screw moving unit which moves the cut lawn collected in the collecting unit to the loading space using a rotating transfer screw; and a rotation driving unit rotating the transfer screw.
