ECO-FRIENDLY FIRE EXTINGUISHING AGENT USING AGAR POWDER AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an eco-friendly fire extinguishing agent using agar powder. The present invention includes: a step of mixing 99.6-99.9 wt% of water with 0.1-0.4 wt% of agar powder; a step of heating a mixture solution to 80-200 deg. C and stirring the mixture solution; and a step of cooling the heated and stirred mixture solution at room temperature. The method improves fire extinguishing performance by modifying the physical and chemical properties of water by adding a gelling agent and rapidly extinguishes fire using less water than existing fire extinguishing water.
