The present invention relates to a method and device for providing an electronic book and, more specifically, to a method and device for controlling the font of an electronic book. The electronic book providing method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of receiving a font change request from a driver; obtaining metadata about whether to allow a font change from multiple pieces of metadata of the electronic book; and allowing the driver to maintain the font of the electronic book if the font cannot be changed in the metadata about whether to allow a font change. According to the present invention, the content of the electronic book is prevented from being displayed incorrectly, and accurate content can be delivered by changing the font of the electronic book in the electronic book providing device. |
