A method for the determination of effectiveness of fire protection of solid building materials consists in the determination of the ratio of the mass burning rate of not treated and treated samples, with calculation of the loss of mass of the sample and the area of its damage at testing. Additionally the temperatures of smoke gases for each sample of not treated and treated material are measured, and the burning characteristics are estimated after burning tests by coefficient K:wherein,- temperature of smoke gases at testing not treated and modified samples, respectively;,- mass rate of burning of not treated and modified samples calculated by formula:where- loss of mass of the sample after tests;τ - test time;S – area of damage of the sample. |
