A method for controlling an electronic apparatus which provides a hovering input effect according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: entering input mode and displaying an input area on a display unit of the electronic apparatus; sensing a hovering position of an input means and a real-time height from the electronic apparatus to the input means; sensing a hovering input event; and displaying a preset hovering input effect corresponding to the hovering input event in the input area.
