摘要 Provided a brace type vibration damping system having a connection unit for preventing out-of-plane buckling which can reduce out-of-plane deformation which occurs at a contact point of a center portion of a brace, for instance, a toggle brace, by reducing separation of connection units of displacement amplification vibration damping systems and decreasing a torsion angle generated. The brace type vibration damping system having the connection unit for preventing out-of-plane buckling comprises one or more braces of which one end is connected to a building structure to be able to rotate; a damper of which one end is connected to the building structure to be able to rotate and of which the other end is connected with the other end of the brace to be able to rotate in order to provide a damping action relative to displacement of the building structure; and a connection unit for preventing out-of-plane buckling which is arranged between one end of the brace and a connection unit of the building structure to restrain out-of-plane deformation at a contact point of the center portion where the brace and the damper are connected with each other. The connection unit for preventing out-of-plane buckling is a wedge type connection unit, and the wedge type connection unit may be manufactured in the form of a wedge in such a way that a connection unit plate for fixing the brace protrudes.
