<p>The present invention relates to a method for copying an object format using inputs on a touchscreen display and, more specifically, to a method and an apparatus for copying a format applied to an object on an electronic document and applying the copied format to another object, using inputs on a touchscreen display. The method comprises the steps of: detecting a first input for selecting a format copy target object on an electronic document on a touchscreen display; selecting a format applied to the format copy target object in response to the first input; triggering a format application mode for applying the format; displaying information about the format; detecting one or more second inputs on the touchscreen display; and applying the format to one or more format application target objects corresponding to positions where the one or more second inputs are detected. When an object format on an electronic document is copied using inputs on the touchscreen display, the present invention enables a user to separately identify information about a format, thereby reducing a cognitive burden on the user, and can provide a user with an intuitive graphic user interface, thereby enabling the user to easily copy a format.</p> |
