The present invention relates to a rotation suppression apparatus for press materials, which is to correctly transfer a press material to a mold blanking position for blanking by preventing the turning or rotating of the press material which is transferred/carried to the mold. The rotation suppression apparatus for press materials comprises a housing (2) which is combined with a joint (43) of a material transfer device (53) for transferring press materials (38, 39); an elevating rod (17) which is installed inside the housing (2) and is elastically supported by a spring (14); an electromagnet (35) which is coupled to a lower screw unit (20) of the elevating rod (17); a long hole (22) which is formed at around the center of the elevating rod (17) lengthily toward the elevation direction; a pair of pin holes (5, 6) which are formed at around both sides of the center of the housing (2); a pin (7) which is combined with the pin holes (5, 6) and the long hole (22) in order to allow the elevation of the elevating rod (17) and to suppress the rotation of the elevating rod (17); and a gap with an interval of 0.1-1 mm, which is formed between the long hole (22) and the pin (7). Adsorption faces (36, 37) of the electromagnet (35) have a concavo or convex, or concavo-convex shape, considering the shape of adsorption faces (38a, 39a) of the press materials (38, 39). |
