The method for applying the topical medicamentous compositions onto the face provides for the use of the gauze dressing. The contour of the required area of the face is copied with the aid of the gauze dressing or bandage with the elastic impression material. Then the medicamentous composition covers the internal surface of the contour obtained and the mask is applied onto the skin of the face.
