Disclosed is a ball joint which prevents rubber from being worn out by bonding a metal plate and rubber, and in which the surface of the plate is hardened (carburizing). The ball joint of the present invention comprises: a ball stud in which a spherical ball is formed on one end; a socket housing connected to the ball stud in order for a ball to be fastened inside; a dust cover having a shape in which both sides are opened, wherein one end of an inner circumferential surface is closely attached to the ball stud to shield the ball and the other end of the inner circumferential surface is closely attached to the socket housing; a support cover which is mounted on the ball stud inside the dust cover and on which a stepped support is formed at a distance from one end of the dust cover closely attached to the ball stud; a plug fixed to the bottom of the socket housing; a rubber spring mounted on the top of the plug for supporting the ball of the ball stud; and a metal plate fixed to the top of the spring. The present invention has an effect in which the movement of the ball stud is smoothly secured in long-term use of the ball joint because the ball stud is stably supported by the socket housing and the spring, the metal plate is fixed by the rubber spring so that it is smoothly moved in response to the force of the ball stud, and the plate of which the surface is hardened is not worn out. |
