FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to roll crushers for processing of spongy titanium and zirconium. Roll crusher comprises bearing frame (1) and cutting chamber with feed bin. Fixed and movable rolls with toothed discs running in fixed and movable bearings (9) and (10), respectively, are fitted in cutting chamber parallel about each other. Said bearings (9), (10) are arranged at bearing frame (1) and drawn by through horizontal couplings (12). Replaceable inserts (14) are fitted between bearings (9), (10) to define the clearance and to control centre-to-centre distance. Bracket (15) with gripper (16) articulated therewith is arranged at outer lateral side of bearing housing (9). Every gripper (16) is composed of sliding levers with vertical supports (20) and horizontal arms (21) with cantilever tails (22). Said cantilever tails (22) support plates (23) to accommodate detachable manual hydraulic jack. Load-bearing elements (25) are fitted at cantilever tails (22) to act on movable rolls and composed by a stack of plate springs (29).
