A furnace with controlled profile of temperature field is used in set of thermoelectric converters (TEC) for removal of effect of thermoelectric non-homogeneity of thermo-couples acquired in the process of operation. It comprises of tubular body, heat insulation and cylindrical spiral heater divided with branches to separate sections and made of metal or alloy that corresponds to one of the thermo-electrodes of the thermo-couples for control of specific zones, and the contacts are made of metal or alloy that corresponds to the other electrode. Insulation of the heater of the body is a thin-wall ceramic cylinder to which the heater is tightly fit. It can be used at long-term measurement of medium and high temperatures by means of TEC under conditions of substantial (10 °C and more) changes of the temperature field of the object (for instance, in boilers of heat electric power plants under effect of weather conditions – precipitations, wind, sun, season of the year and time of the day). This makes it possible to decrease operational stock of the error of measuring channel – at its application the error from acquired thermo-electric heterogeneity of the thermo-couple can not manifest itself. |
