Preparing a composite material having homogenous composition comprising a bioactive ceramic phase and a bioresorptive polymer, comprises depositing the bioactive ceramic phase in the form of powder, placing the bioactive ceramic powder suspension in a solvent, adding the bioresorptive polymer to the obtained suspension and mixing until to obtain a homogeneous viscous dispersion from the bioactive ceramic powder in a solution comprising the solvent and the polymer, and precipitating the dispersion in an aqueous solution to obtain a homogeneous composite material. Independent claims are included for: (1) a composite material of homogeneous composition obtained by the process; (2) a preparation of an implantable medical device, comprising depositing the composite material, heating the composite material to obtain a homogenous pulp, flowing the homogenous paste in a mold and obtaining the implantable medical device by mold, after cooling; and (3) an implantable medical device obtained by the process. |
