Provided is a measuring apparatus which obtains accurate moving information about a measuring reference part. The measuring apparatus includes a measuring reference part setting part which sets a measuring reference part P in an ultrasonic image of an object; a tracing part which traces regions R in the ultrasonic image which is successively continuous after predetermined time; a first moving information calculation part which calculates the first moving information of each region R based on the tracing of the tracing part a second moving information calculation part which calculates the second moving information of the measuring reference part based on the first moving information of each region obtained by the first moving information calculation part. The regions R are regions which include a part which captures a moving element which the measuring reference part P cannot trace between one ultrasonic image and another ultrasonic image in tracing the tracing part.
