<p>According to the present invention, first multi-home equipment and second multi-home equipment within at least one communications network can support a multi-path protocol. Provided is a method for establishing the multi-path connection through multiple communications paths between the first and second multi-home equipment, the method comprising a step of transmitting main connection establishment requests through at least two communications paths between the first and the second equipment from the first equipment (E1); a step of receiving at least one acknowledgement message through one of the communication paths from the second equipment (E2); and a step of determining a communications path, in which the first one of the at least one confirmation message from the second equipment (S) is received by the first equipment (C), as a main communications path in order to establish the main connection of the multi-path connection through the main communications path (E3).</p> |
