The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for monitoring foreign materials inside a pipe, which can reduce process loss according to cleaning work for a pipe by monitoring the existence of foreign materials such as bacteria inside the pipe in real time in order to disassemble and clean only a pipeline requiring the removal of foreign materials. The apparatus for monitoring foreign materials comprises: a transparent pipe (12) which is combined between a pipeline (10) and an opaque pipe (11); a foreign material sensing unit (20) which outputs light in order to transmit the transparent pipe (12), and detects the amount of light received after transmitting the transparent pipe (12); a data converting unit (30) which converts the amount of light outputted from the foreign material sensing unit (20) and the amount of received light into output data and received data respectively; and a transparency displaying unit (40) which displays the transparency of the transparent pipe (12) by comparing the output data with the received data. |
