FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: compensator comprises flexible elements in the form of smooth-wall tubes. The tubes are connected to supports made as polygonal prisms with the help of sleeves embracing the tubes by their outer diameter and having inner conical surface. At least one smooth-wall tube is of oval or ellipse cross-section in the working area with the minor axis being placed in the angular displacement plane. Such tubes are of lower bending stiffness and higher fatigue strength as compared to round tubes at equal nominal bore.EFFECT: expanded performances.2 dwg
