FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: approximating paraboloid is constructed for each baffle based on values of positions of baffles such that the focal distance and the position of the base of each paraboloid minimally differs from a neighbouring base and wherein the difference between focal distances thereof is a multiple of the wavelength of the received radio-frequency radiation, and the deviation of each baffle from the corresponding paraboloid is calculated; the position of each baffle of a second reflector (convergent mirror) is measured after moving baffles of a main reflector, a model is constructed for the path of beams reflected from baffles of the main reflector towards the convergent mirror and the position of reflecting surfaces of the baffles of the convergent mirror, and the mismatch of outermost beams with positions of corresponding edges of reflecting surfaces of the baffles of the convergent mirror is calculated, and an automatic control system is used to move each baffle of the convergent mirror towards the side of decreasing mismatch such that the positions of foci thereof minimally diverge from each other, from the position of the secondary focus of the mirror system and(or) from the position of the radiation receiver, under the condition that the length of beams from the primary focus to the reflecting surfaces of baffles of the convergent mirror, and the length of beams from the reflecting surfaces of baffles of the convergent mirror to the secondary focus and the divergence in both cases are multiples of the wavelength of the received radiation.EFFECT: higher utilisation factor of the surface of multi-range double-reflector antennae.3 dwg |
