FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling of high-silica steel with Si content of 2.3 wt %. At initial stage, strip entrance section temperature is set to 45°C and kept up; then, emulsion fluid is sprayed on said strip at cold rolling. Note here that flow rate of said emulsion fluid at entrance section makes 3500 l/min while at exit section it makes 1500-4000 l/min. Note also that at first pass, reduction makes 20-40%, rear tension makes 8-30 N/mmwhile rear tension makes 50-2000 N/mm. Note also that at intermediate passes, reduction makes 18-38%, rear tension makes 40-150 N/mmwhile rear tension makes 60-350 N/mm.
