Disclosed is a method for designing a journal part of a back-up roll with high fatigue properties. For this, the method for designing the journal part of the back-up roll with the high fatigue properties according to the present invention includes a first step (S10) of designing a safety factor in consideration of the material of a work roll and a repetitive operation condition of the work roll; a second step (S20) of calculating equivalent stress generated in the journal part of the work roll in consideration of the maximum stress generated in the work roll; and a third step (S30) of designing the journal part of the work roll by using the equivalent stress generated in the journal part of the work roll and the safety factor of the work roll. |
