The present invention relates to a garbage press. The garbage press including an inlet with open top and bottom on a garbage tank supporting space and a press supporter on one upper side of the inlet includes a sprocket which is connected to the shaft of a motor and is fixed to the side wall of a housing to be rotatable; a chain connected to the sprocket; a chain accepter which is accommodated in the housing, one end of which is fixed to the lower part of the side wall of the housing, and in which the chain is inserted and moves; a press plate in which a perpendicular joint which is formed upwards in the horizontal joint is connected to one end of the chain in the lower part of the side wall of the housing to be rotatable and to be coupled with the chain; and a press device having a slide unit which is coupled with the press supporter; and a guide groove unit which is formed on one side wall of the inlet to move up and down by the inserted chain coupled with the press plate. By this, the compression of garbage is efficient, costs for a garbage bag are decreased by a compressed garbage volume, manufacture and repair are easy, energy consumption is decreased by a garbage press with a simple structure, the productivity is high, and the mass production is easy. |
