A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots comprises a feeding conveyer, a baffle brush, a roller cleaning unit, consisting of pairs of rollers, which counterrotate pairwise, a pile activator, a blanket cleaner and an unloading conveyer. The roller cleaning unit formed by a cleaning bed of a conical shape, with the vertex, directed downwards, which is disposed inside of a rectangular frame and consists of the rollers, the diameters of which decrease in the downward direction. In doing so, one of the upper ends of the frame is placed in a cylindrical hinge, and lower end thereof, arranged oppositely, is kinematically connected to the mechanism of oscillatory movements. Inside of the bed of the conical shape from above the activator is mounted as a console drive shaft of the same length, on the generating surface of which, long elastic rods are fixed chequerwise. |
