摘要 Disclosed is a method for preparing a food composition for improving a joint function containing an extract of Opuntia humifusa as an active ingredient. The present invention comprises the steps of: washing roots of Opuntia humifusa with water, and then introducing the roots into an extraction container; introducing water, ethanol (spirit) or a mixture solvent of water and ethanol (spirit) into the extraction container; heating the extraction container to perform warming extraction for 8 hours; filtering the extract; evaporating the filtrate using an evaporator to concentrate the filtrate; and drying and pulverizing the concentrate.
