The present invention relates to an automatic locking device and a method thereof for scaffolds, and more particularly, to an automatic locking device for scaffolds which includes an upper bar and a lower bar combined to each other using a pin, wherein the upper bar rotates horizontally as an upper scaffold moves down, and the upper scaffold is inserted into through-holes of the upper and lower bars, thereby automatically locking upper and lower scaffolds; and a method thereof. |
