1. An apparatus in which a plurality of applications can be installed, the apparatus comprising:
a memory configured to store an installed application; a determination part configured to determine, in response to a request to launch the installed application, whether the installed application stored in the memory and associated with the launch request is a preinstalled application or a new installed application; a prelaunch part configured to determine whether to perform a comparison with available resource information in the apparatus based on whether the determination part determines the installed application associated with the launch request is a preinstalled application or a new installed application; a comparison part configured to compare, based on a determination by the prelaunch part that the comparison is to be performed, necessary resource information for executing the new installed application and the available resource information in the apparatus in order to determine whether launch restriction is necessary; and a launch part configured to launch, based on a determination by the prelaunch part that the comparison is not to be performed, the preinstalled application without comparing necessary resource information for executing the preinstalled application and the available resource information in the apparatus wherein the preinstalled application is related to a function specific to the apparatus and the new application is related to a function not specific to the apparatus.
