1. A method involving a mobile unit having at least one first session with a base station router, comprising:
determining at least one first activity level associated with said at least one first session, said at least one first activity level associated with said at least one first session indicating an elapsed time since the mobile unit last used said at least one first session; and allocating memory to said at least one first session based on said at least one first activity level so that said at least one first session is allocated memory that can be accessed faster than memory allocated to at least one second session having at least one second activity level that is lower than said at least one first activity level.
